We have now completed our pivotal clinical study, and our focus is on regulatory approvals and commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.



As a member of the Quality Control team, you will be directly responsible for in-process quality control activities related to catheter production within cleanrooms, supporting the development, manufacturing, and sales of Kardium products.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Burnaby, BC.

Your responsibilities will include:



Planning QC resources to meet introducer production schedules in two shifts. Hiring QC technicians and providing hands-on training on QC inspection processes. Monitoring QC in-process inspections related to introducers daily and implementing actions to improve the department's efficiency and effectiveness. Providing technical guidance to QC personnel on daily inspections inside certified cleanrooms. Collaborating with the Quality, Engineering, and Risk teams to improve technical documentation, including SOPs and QC work instructions. Supporting Quality Engineering and Mechanical Engineering teams with root cause investigations, as needed.

What you bring to the team

A bachelor's degree or diploma in a technical field. A minimum of two years of relevant quality control experience, preferably in the medical devices industry. Proficiency with standard measurement tools/systems such as calipers and micrometers. An ability to interpret mechanical drawings to understand specified dimensional and functional characteristics to be tested. Previous experience in a leadership role is preferred. Strong communication skills across all organizational levels. A proactive attitude and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as appropriate.

Compensation

Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.

As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium's stock option plan.

$75,000 - $85,000 (CAD Annually)
