Your Impact
Our Quality Assurance (QA) team is growing and maturing into an independent team within our Engineering group. You will play a vital part in defining and executing our quality transformations. You\xe2\x80\x99ll work directly with the development team to support the team\xe2\x80\x99s objective of delivering features & solutions with Quality that exceeds our customers\xe2\x80\x99 expectations. Partnering with Product Managers, Engineers, and Leadership, you\xe2\x80\x99re scope of influence and impact will lay the foundation for our Quality organization.
As one of our first QA hires, you\xe2\x80\x99ll take ownership in leading and executing QA activities (test case generating, test doc reviews, verification executions). You\xe2\x80\x99ll demonstrate your expertise in solving QA dilemmas and help guide your peers to a higher quality standard with each iteration. While contributing to manual testing you are curious about automated testing and are helping to build our test strategies.

What You\'ll Do

• • Refine requirements to ensure all information, including the acceptance criteria, is correctly captured.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans (scope, risks, assumptions, boundary conditions, test priority, and traceability matrix).
  • Design and execute end-to-end test scenarios involving all web application layers.
  • Provide accurate test estimates and timely reports on test progress to QA leadership.
  • Proactively identify and communicate unique testing needs for complex features by extracting specific test data and information (such as from Developers)
  • Collaborate with the SDET automation team and provide seamless handover of well-documented test cases to be automated.
  • Provide clear and comprehensive bug reports and follow up rigorously on their fixes.

Your Background:
You have worked closely with Developers, Software Developers in Test/Automation Engineers, Product Managers and DevOps in an agile, embedded team model. You have owned testing activities for product-led companies and demonstrated an in-depth understanding and application of the testing pyramid. With experience in executing QA functions (automation, manual validation and verification), you are comfortable tracking code changes and administrating test scope. You have vast experience writing complex SQL scripts utilizing Joins, Unions, and various SQL operators for data validation. You are also comfortable using tools such as Postman, SoapUI, and Swagger to test Restful/Soap API.
