Quality Assurance Engineer A Snapshot of Your Day As a Quality Engineer ,you will work closely with Production , Engineering, Purchase ,R &D, Operational Excellence teams to Implement Quality concepts, special projects on establishing Quality plans, managing QMS systems to implement Zero Defect culture. You will work with most diverse , motivated and talented team looking always for opportunities to improve. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Maintaining / updating IMS, QMS systems in company.
  • Doing SPC studies on process to stabilize the defects.
  • Conducting FMEA studies for various process and documenting .
  • Analyzing Sub-process defects, making Corrective , preventive actions ,8D ,RCA’s reports.
  • Leading team on Zero Defect culture programme.
  • Analyzing monthly reports on Department KPI metrics, NCR’s, Supplier performance reports etc.
  • Review of materials test reports, Inspection reports, certificate of Conformance for materials received from sub-contractors, suppliers.
  • Performing Process Audits, Supplier Audits, Internal system Audits, participating in supplier evaluations, supplier Qualifications.
  • Making Gauge R &R studies, Measurement of Uncertainty of test equipment.
  • Drafting / updating manufacturing procedures, Quality alerts, visual controls as needed etc.
  • Training of Quality Inspectors, production employees as and when needed.
  • Co-coordinating with Engineering, drafting, order center departments to address customer special needs and requirements as and when needed.
  • Makes decision and recommendations with regards to Quality within established guidelines and procedures.
  • Involving in special projects as and when required in organization.
  • Supporting QA manager to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Other duties / jobs as assigned by QA manager
What You Bring
  • Graduate of a recognized post secondary Quality Assurance program is preferred,
  • Certified Quality Engineer by ASQ
  • Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001 quality system, ISO 14001 environmental system ,ISO 17025 Laboratory Quality management and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety System required
  • 5-7 years related experience in the Quality Assurance field, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience
  • Familiar with SPC,FMEA, Risk analysis, Gauge R &R,PPAP etc.
  • Ability to use mechanical measuring instruments (micrometer, Vernier, tape measure etc.) is required
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings is required.
  • Experience using personal computers including Microsoft office, SAP .
  • Familiarity with Nonconformance reporting (NCR) and closing NCR’s.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Must be a team player, flexibility to work is must.
  • Must demonstrate a safety and quality conscious approach while performing work duties
