Maritime Pressure Works is actively seeking candidates to fill open Steamfitter/Pipefitter positions within the company. Maritime Pressure Works is an ASME certified company with shop locations in Dartmouth, Halifax, Springhill, Fredericton & Stratford specializing in boiler repairs, marine ship repair, commercial & industrial piping & temporary boiler solutions Responsibilities: Material Receiving & maintain quality records pertaining to project material requirements as per MPW ASME Quality Manual. Keep up to date logs & submit to QC department for filing in Quality Turnover Packages Work in coordination with MPW Quality department & Supervisors in the Receiving Material process of shop materials & determine which items are of more priority Perform field inspections to verify the material is stored per manufacturer recommendations and construction specifications Assist Quality Department with completion of Turnover packages (ITP) for QA Manager review Attend Quality and Construction meetings to provide updates on material status and backordered items Basic Job Requirements QA/QC Inspection experience Experience working in a technical receiving environment an asset Attention to detail Highly organized Highly motivated Flexible schedule Familiarly with Outlook, Excel & Word Ability to work independently and perform multiple tasks Ability to solve problems and make decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Job Type: Full-time Salary: $22.00-$26.50 per hour Benefits:

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
