The Quality Assurance (QA) Raw Material Coordinator is responsible for conducting Finished Goods and Raw Material inspections and working closely with the Production teams to improve the quality of the product and components in the product. The QA Coordinator collects data on the tracking system and shares findings with different stakeholders. The QA Coordinator follows performance standards, procedures, and audit controls to meet QA department and CG business requirements. The QA Coordinator must be capable of multi-tasking while working in a manufacturing environment to perform tasks cross functionally.

Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Production in finding root cause of issues and implementing preventative measures
  • Collect data, compile reports, and communicate opportunities for improvement with appropriate team
  • Support development and implementation of processes and procedures using an advanced knowledge of industry standards.
  • Audit Production floor processes to ensure Corporate policies are followed, and if not, follow up for corrective measures
  • Inspect and approve/reject raw material and/or finished goods
  • Work on continuous improvement projects that align with Corporate Strategies
  • Coach internal and external partners to become Quality Assurance experts
  • Provide regular feedback to QA Manager regarding garment quality performance
  • Challenge status quo to improve current processes and efficiency

Experience, Education and Designations:
  • Diploma in Fashion/Textiles Manufacturing required
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in Garment Manufacturing industry

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes:
  • Strong MS Office skills
  • Colour principle and colour sense
  • Strong eye for details (shading, millimetre difference, colour reading and grading, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction and patternmaking
  • Understanding of the garment manufacturing processes
  • Adaptability to a constant changing environment
  • Ability to prioritize, operate autonomously, work as a team and handle challenges
  • Excellent common sense, decision-making abilities, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
