Plasman Plastics Inc. 635 Sprucewood Avenue Windsor, Ontario N9C 0B3 Plasman Plastics Inc., located in Windsor, Ontario, is looking for one (1) permanent full-time (40 hours per week) Material Coordinator (NOC 13201). The successful candidate will be responsible for the following: \xc2\xb7 Plan and oversee operational logistics of supply-chain work units or departments; \xc2\xb7 Consult with production supervisor to schedule production runs in a cost and time-efficient manner; \xc2\xb7 Communicate regularly with other production coordinators, warehouse, production and construction supervisors and purchasing and inventory clerks to coordinate activities between warehouses, production floors, construction sites or other supply chain work units or departments; \xc2\xb7 Maintains inventory of materials and parts needed to complete production; \xc2\xb7 Prepare and maintain various reports on the progress of work, materials used, rates of production and other production information, using manual or computerized systems; \xc2\xb7 Cycle count finished good program and finished goods reconciliation (WP1, FPP); \xc2\xb7 Receive customer releases through EDI and/or fax; \xc2\xb7 Analyzing these releases in order to create an effective production schedule; \xc2\xb7 Determining and maintaining finished goods inventory levels; \xc2\xb7 Communication daily releases to Shipping Personnel to ensure orders are prepared for shipment; \xc2\xb7 Confers, Materials Manager (WP1, FPP) to determine status of assigned projects; and \xc2\xb7 During management system audit events provide evidence in support of conformance with applicable standards and procedures and participate in corrective action activities as necessary. Applicant must have at least 1 year of experience in Supply Control within a manufacturing setting. Applicant must have obtained a secondary school diploma. Completion of a post-secondary education program in supply chain management or a related field and/or must have the credential assessment confirming equivalency is an asset.
