An award winning windows and doors company in Vaughan is currently seeking a
Purchasing Coordinator
to help streamline our production operations and ensure efficiency in our ordering processes.
Job Responsibilities
Order window and door products and materials from vendors, ensuring timely delivery to prevent production delays.
Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to track orders and resolve any supply chain issues.
Maintain and update production records, work orders, and reports.
Track production progress and address any delays or issues that may impact timelines.
Assist in optimizing production workflows for improved efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Support the production team with administrative tasks, including documentation and compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
2+ years of experience in purchasing (preferably in windows and doors or construction-related industries).
Experience in
ordering fenestration products and coordinating with vendors
.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Google Suite, CRM
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of windows and doors manufacturing or installation processes is a plus.
