If you are looking for a dynamic organization, this is the opportunity for you. We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Saint John. As a Purchasing Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring our branches have adequate stock levels to meet customer demand. You will work with different departments and suppliers to monitor inventory levels, analyze sales data, and place purchase orders. You will also be responsible for implementing inventory control techniques and monitoring inventory performance. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills and be highly organized. Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and assess inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock is available to meet demand.
  • Update min/max requirements for the branches and Technician\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • Analyze sales data to forecast future demand.
  • Create purchase orders and update confirmations to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with different departments like sales and construction to identify the right products and quantities that need to be ordered.
  • Implement inventory control techniques to reduce stock levels and maximize profitability.
  • Review and action reports on inventory levels, stock outs, order statuses, deliveries, and any issues encountered.
Suitable candidates will meet the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain or related field will be considered an asset.
  • Experience as an Inventory Coordinator or Purchasing Agent
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications like Excel and Word.
  • Ability to adapt to different situations and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
