About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to lead our purchasing and procurement process. Primary focus will be to continue to develop vendor relationships, strategically source material and supplies and support operations with reliable and cost-effective solutions. To be successful, this individual must be detail orientated, proactive and capable of working in a fast-paced customer service driven environment. They must also be able to work Monday-to-Friday from our Squamish based office. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Prepare, receive, manage, and approve purchase requisitions.
  • Manage inventory.
  • Work closely with AP to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.
  • Assist department leaders, support operations, and prioritize supply using proper judgement and needs assessment.
  • Pick and pack orders and organize shipping manifests.
  • Coordinate logistic and freight.
  • Maintaining clear communication between facilities and departments on critical, urgent, and essential parts and supplies. Liaise with new and existing transport partners and developing relationships with freight forwarders and couriers, especially in remote locations.
  • Warehouse management.
  • Uniforms orders, distribution, sales, and stock management.
Knowledge and Qualifications
  • 3 years' experience in a Procurement and Purchasing Role.
  • Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, PPT and Outlook.
  • Ability to handle pressure, prioritize, meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident, outgoing and positive team player.
  • The ability to manage supply in a diverse and sometimes challenging environment.
Job Type: Temporary Contract, Salary Starting Wage and Shift Schedule

  • Salary Range $54, 000 ? $62,000
