Duties and Responsibilities
  • Receive and catalog in-bound boats for repair/maintenance
  • Release manufacturing orders, and input list of parts required per job in the ERP (MOVEX)
  • Follow-up with Stores/Warehouse on back-ordered items.
  • Receive and process estimates from dealers and sub-contracted facilities.
  • Issue vendor services PO\xe2\x80\x99s and process invoices in MOVEX
  • Close manufacturing orders accordingly
  • Monitor transfer of inventory between warehouses
  • Create sales orders in MOVEX as per contract details
  • Input labour hours for hourly employees for the Repair Shop and keep the Production Payroll spreadsheet up to date accordingly.
  • Maintain a well-organized filing system for all repairs performed (electronic and hard copies)
  • Liaison with Stores and Shipping personnel to ensure timely dispatch of parts to vendors and dealers
  • Liaison with the Accounting Department as required for invoicing.
  • Track the percentage of completion against customer-approved estimate hours to review with the Shop lead weekly
  • Provide general administrative support as needed and assist co-workers with tasks as needed, including, but not limited to, assisting with documentation in the Repair Shop
  • Manage shipping requests for parts to send to dealers/subcontractors
  • Assist with the shipment of the boats once repair is complete
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned and/or required
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing and/or purchasing environment is preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills that include the use of Excel and MS Word.
  • Data entry experience with ERP systems is preferred.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to multitask, be well-organized and detail-oriented, and coordinate and collaborate with different stakeholders while operating in a fast-paced and dynamic organization.
  • Possess good time management skills, understand how to prioritize, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to solve problems and set priorities while working effectively and independently in a high-performance team culture.
  • Exceptional customer service skills communicating in a professional and respectful manner with both internal and external customers.
