Position: Purchasing Coordinator / Buyer - Industrial Manufacturing Sector
Location: Boucherville
Salary: $55,000 to $65,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in person
Job Type: Permanent

We are looking for a person who is comfortable in a computerized environment (Office Suite, advanced Excel) and is known for their negotiation skills to join a team as a Purchasing Coordinator / Buyer in Boucherville.

As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will play a key role in the ordering process with the various suppliers and you will ensure efficient logistics of the operations from the product order to its delivery.

You will participate in inventory management, cost analysis and negotiation of agreements.

Brief description:

- Proceed with the purchase of products and services and collaborate with the buyers of head office (USA)
- Conduct contract negotiations with suppliers
- Ensure inventory maintenance by analyzing and updating product inventories
- Work with company resources to research new products
- Proceed with dispute resolution regarding invoicing and purchase orders issued

Requirements:

- Training in Supply Management or equivalent / or relevant experience
- Bilingual to communicate with suppliers and head office in the USA
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and production on order (an asset)
