Under the responsibility of the Senior Property Manager, the Property Manager manages effectively all activities relating to the buildings assigned to him.

  • Manage payable accounts, tenant invoicing, building operating costs, supplier invoicing, recurring payments;
  • Prepare and administer operating budgets, monthly analysis reports, and service contracts;
  • Provide an excellent customer service;
  • Perform the daily operation of the buildings;
  • Manage critical equipment and infrastructure;
  • Be responsible for the operation of buildings;
  • Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of systems, equipment and buildings;
  • Establish strong tenant / manager relationships for the smooth running of operations;
  • Be the main contact for tenants to answer all their requests;
  • Manage incidents, compliance with company and industry protocols and standards security and building operations technicians;
  • Provide advisory services on projects, investment planning and budgeting for the operation of buildings;
  • Ensure systems are maintained or upgraded in accordance with industry best practices and manufacturer recommendations to prevent or resolve system failures quickly and thereby avoid downtime and loss of service;
  • Perform all other related tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Hold an undergraduate degree preferably in engineering, urban planning or architecture or equivalent experience;
  • Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in commercial real estate management with similar responsibilities;
  • Possess one of the following certifications: CFM, FMP or RPA;
  • Master the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Health and Security;
  • Have to work on budgets: execution and capital project;
  • Have a good knowledge of calls for tenders;
  • Be able to read and understand financial statements and have a basic understanding of accounting;
  • Have good knowledge of YARDI software (an asset).
