Property Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. They will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across residential and commercial properties, as well as our Prefab Shop maintenance. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, possess strong problem-solving abilities, and have a broad range of technical skills.

Key Responsibilities includes, but are not limited too:



Perform snow removal activities during winter months, including tractor operations, shoveling, snow blowing, and clearing (flexible hours required, but typical hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 3pm). Maintain exterior property grounds, including lawn mowing, trimming, and general landscaping. Maintain yard cleanliness and organization, including proper waste disposal. Unload delivery trucks, inspect shipments for damage, and store materials appropriately. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and minor plumbing work. Repair and install fixtures, appliances, and equipment as needed. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance issues and determine appropriate solutions. Perform minor mechanical repairs and routine maintenance on company vehicles and equipment. Clean and detail company vehicles as needed. Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition. Coordinate and maintain yard inventory. Assist site workers with loading machines and equipment Support the warehouse team with general maintenance and ensure areas are clean at the end of each day. Operate warehouse equipment safely and responsibly. Assist with yard security by locking gates, sheds, containers, and securing valuables at the end of the day. Demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes. Maintain clean and organized work areas at all times. Work independently and adapt to changing priorities. Ad-hocs projects

Qualifications:



Proven experience as a handyperson or in a similar role. Proficiency in basic plumbing, mechanics and carpentry work. Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Working Conditions:



Full-time position with flexible hours. Work will involve exposure to various weather conditions. Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work at heights if necessary.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 44 per week
