We are looking for a

Property Maintenance Technician

to join our team and work under our

Property Maintenance Manager

. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on maintenance or carpentry experience who takes pride in doing quality work and enjoys variety in their day.

Position Summary

As a Property Maintenance Technician, you'll help ensure our buildings and units remain in excellent condition. You'll assist with day-to-day repairs, renovations, and preventative maintenance, while supporting the Maintenance Manager in coordinating larger projects.

ideal for someone who's dependable, skilled, and values a family-run, community-oriented work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs, including carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, and fixture installation. Assist with apartment turnovers and renovation projects. Support the Maintenance Manager with scheduling and coordination of work orders. Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies as directed. Help maintain common areas, building exteriors, and outdoor spaces. Ensure tools, equipment, and vehicles are kept organized and in good working order. Maintain a professional and courteous approach when interacting with tenants and contractors.

Qualifications & Skills

Proven experience in

property maintenance, construction, or general repairs

. Working knowledge of basic

carpentry, plumbing, drywall, and electrical

work. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a small team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Physically capable of performing manual labour. Familiarity with the Kitchener-Waterloo area is an asset.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
