About the Role:







Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the Property Administrator is a pivotal, hands-on role at the intersection of finance, property operations, and resident experience. You will be the crucial link supporting both Property General Managers and our residents by ensuring the seamless and compliant execution of core property accounting and administrative processes. Beyond daily tasks, you will have the opportunity to contribute to process optimization and key operational improvement projects across our portfolio.







What You'll Do:





Move-in and move-out of residents in Yardi, maintain the resident and rentable items database. Processing of cash receipts and deposits. Prepare residents accounts receivable reports, outlining and addressing any delinquent and/or past due payments, perform collection efforts on past due accounts. Prepare required forms and documents in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act related to claims, collections, evictions, rent increases, etc. Prepares renewal listings for review by the leasing team and prepares renewal notices. Supports team goals, objectives, operations and strategy for properties outlined by management. Understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act with respect to landlord rights and obligations.



Who You Are:





Undergraduate degree or college diploma in a business field would be considered an asset. 2+ years of experience in real estate/property management, with a focus on residential. Knowledge of accounting functions including accounts payable and accounts receivable. Strong organizational skills and the ability to deliver against tight deadlines. Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and Yardi Voyager 7S.
