Our client, one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada, has an immediate need for a Project Services Data Analytics Initiative Support. This is a contract position for six (6) months located in Burnaby, British Columbia

Description

The Project Services Data Analytics Initiative Support will be responsible for analyzing large sets of data by applying qualitative or quantitative techniques using advanced skills in MS Excel and data analysis software, into meaningful information, enabling effective planning and decision-making in support of business solutions

Accountabilities

• Analyze large sets of data by applying qualitative or quantitative techniques using advanced skills in MS Excel or a data analysis software, to support strategic decision-making.
• Maintain clean data by verifying, validating, and filtering data if needed, to meet data quality requirements.
• Optimize the reporting process by developing, implementing, and maintaining database systems that effectively manage information.
• Provide advice to acquiring manager by reporting relevant findings and making recommendations to support management in delivering results within scope, time and budget.

Required

• 6 years of relevant experience
• Must have demonstrated Data Analysis and reporting experience
• Must have excellent excel skills
• Have Tableau development experience (nice to have)
• Education and Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, or related discipline
• Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Extensive working knowledge of data analysis programs, an asset
• Advanced English skills for professional environment, written and spoken
