What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Be Doing

You will be joining CIBC\'s Project Management Office, Enterprise Technology team. As a Project Manager/Project Coordinator, you will support the Enterprise Technology team in all facets of projects including initiating, planning, financial tracking, asset management, invoicing, project status reporting and planning. You will also collaborate with Senior Project Managers, scrum masters and leads to ensure the project management and reporting is accurate.

How You\xe2\x80\x99ll Succeed

Project Management \xe2\x80\x93 Outline project goals, terms of reference, resource requirements, and costs. Help create a resource plan that ensures all stakeholders have a voice on the project. Assess the efficiency of the practices and procedures used by a team, and provide guidance that will continuously improve the project plan. Ability supporting multiple sr project managers.

Collaboration \xe2\x80\x93 Help internal partners make informed decisions about the development of programs, products, and services. Work closely with teams as you work toward a common goal and negotiate deliverables and milestones whenever necessary. Collaborate with Sr. Project Managers and leads to ensure the status reports, roadmaps are up-to-date and track project change requests, action items, issues and risks

Project Coordination \xe2\x80\x93 Proactively identify anything that will take projects off schedule and find solutions to correct the problem. Monitor milestones, and ensure they\xe2\x80\x99re completed according to timelines and budgets. Execute a project plan that is personalized for your team\xe2\x80\x99s preferred mix of quality, time, and cost. Opportunity to project manage smaller projects.

Project Financials \xe2\x80\x93 Support and assist in tracking and reconciling financials ensuring resolution of anomalies, update and reconcile latest estimates ensuring actuals to plan, make recommendations escalating as appropriate. Assist in forecasting & allocating resources through Project budget forecasting & Planview on an ongoing basis.

Communication & Attention to Detail \xe2\x80\x93 Exposure to all organizational levels. Experience writing communication to large audiences and following up on deliverables. Ability to capture relevant information and actions during meetings and working sessions then convert into project status and schedules

You have a degree/diploma in Business and/or a related field of study. It\xe2\x80\x99s an asset if you have your MBA or PMP Designation.
