It is a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension and permanence.

Your role

Reporting to the Director, Independent Productions and External Relations, you are responsible for supervising the production of Radio-Canada podcast and audiobook projects. You help create projects, develop timelines, support production teams, manage your assigned budgets and resources, and supervise work in accordance with project terms of reference and established objectives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the production of digital audio content developed primarily by independent producers (podcasts, audiobooks or any other non-linear format).
  • Monitor and track independent projects, and in-house projects involving external partners, to ensure they align with concepts, terms of reference and management objectives.
  • Provide ongoing support for production projects to ensure they align with concepts, terms of reference and management objectives.
  • Evaluate acquisitions.
  • Plan and manage production timelines.
  • Manage budgets and resources allocated to projects.
  • Recommend and recruit production team members.
  • Make recommendations for implementing scheduling and release strategies.
  • Make recommendations for project selection and development.
  • Organize qualitative and quantitative evaluations of productions.
Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following:
  • University degree in a related field or any other combination deemed equivalent.
  • Three to five years' project management experience (budgets, timelines, resource monitoring and tracking, etc.).
  • Solid command of French, spoken and written.
  • Advanced knowledge of digital audio production methods.
  • Proven content expertise (creation, publishing).
  • Ability to manage creative teams.
  • Thoroughness and ability to manage priorities.
  • Knowledge of distribution channels and digital audio streaming.
  • Experience producing podcast content is an asset.
