Your role

Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager for the Quebec City region, you coordinate marketing communications projects, taking a digital-first approach in accordance with strategies developed by Regional Communications, as well as with corporate standards and policies.

Description of duties:

  • Act as a 360-degree consultant on marketing communications strategies for all projects (digital products, programs, newsroom and Quebec station features), on inter-regional or inter-sectional projects, employing a digital-first approach.
  • Develop strategies and create concepts and approaches for cross-platform content, public relations, promotions, advertising, on-air promos and event activations, generating ideas for, conceiving and producing supporting audio, video, digital and print material.
  • Review the various performance indicators, interpret results, draft reports, and recommend actions to achieve objectives.
  • Assume responsibility for all aspects of communications within a project cycle and find solutions to problems and limitations, be they technical or operational in nature.
  • Coordinate resources and activities for digital marketing communications projects, and set up, support and mobilize teams for projects.
  • Manage budgets related to your activities.
  • Think up publicity concepts, assist in producing audiovisual material for publicity campaigns, and supervise digital and print production, depending on the chosen concept.
  • Create and organize Radio-Canada events in Quebec City.
  • Develop and manage content and campaigns on digital media.
  • Negotiate, develop and implement partnership agreements. Provide strategic support for the ideation, organization, promotion and creation of material as part of negotiated partnership agreements.
  • Create and implement field activations.
  • Draft and follow up on digital, print and TV creative briefs related to partnerships.
  • Capture the state of play, implement the cross-promotion strategy, and follow up with teams.
This position is hybrid.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following:
  • University degree in a relevant field
  • Six (6) or more years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a Project Management role in the marketing and communications field. Media knowledge, particularly news media, is an asset
  • In-depth knowledge of digital media
  • Proficiency with Google Suite apps
  • Proficiency with applications for the operationalization of digital campaigns (Business manager, Google ads) and for analysis
  • Ability to be thorough and organized and to show coordination skills
  • In-depth knowledge of project life-cycle methodologies is an asset
  • Ability and willingness to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and on a flexible schedule as needed
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Creative mind
  • Ability for multitasking
  • Superior French-language skills, spoken and written
  • Bilingualism is an asset
