Being a

Project Estimator

As a Project Estimator, you'll be responsible for providing accurate project estimates and follow-ups to our electrical partners, contributing directly to sales growth.

In your day-to-day, you will:

Prepare estimates and evaluate heating systems required based on takeoffs provided by our electrical partners; Prepare quotations using established price lists for construction projects; Convert quotations into orders in the system; Gather all relevant project information to facilitate internal follow-up; Assist other estimators with various team tasks; Prepare and send all project-related information and technical data sheets for approval; Identify opportunities and, when possible, optimize our offers to clients (up-selling & cross-selling); Collect relevant BSDQ information and maintain an updated quotation schedule; Process change directives and provide our partners with information about orders, delivery times, product pricing, etc.; Collaborate and interact with internal departments to ensure proper project planning follow-up.

You're the person we're looking for if you have:

A high school diploma; About 3 years of relevant experience; Experience, education, or technical knowledge in electric heating products, electricity, or estimating would be an asset; Bilingualism (French and English - communication with English-speaking clients); Proficiency with MS Office; General knowledge of ERP or CRM management systems; Strong analytical skills; Good interpersonal skills and a customer- and solution-oriented mindset; Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
