Thomson Roof Treatment Ltd. is seeking a

Project Estimator & Operations Coordinator

to join our growing company. This role goes beyond estimating -- it's designed for someone who takes pride in their work, values teamwork, and is eager to contribute to all areas of the business.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As Project Estimator & Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, managing proposals, and working closely with clients. You'll also support day-to-day operations, including safety oversight, inventory tracking, HR support, and occasionally assisting in the field to ensure work gets done to the highest standard.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ESTIMATING & CLIENT MANAGEMENT

Prepare accurate and detailed project estimates and proposals. Conduct site visits, measurements, and inspections. Communicate clearly with clients and build lasting relationships. Follow up on proposals and support business growth initiatives.

OPERATIONS SUPPORT

Track and manage inventory, equipment, and materials. Provide safety oversight and ensure WorkSafeBC compliance. Assist with HR functions such as onboarding and training new staff. Support growth planning and contribute ideas for efficiency and profitability.

FIELD INVOLVEMENT

Step into the field to assist crews when deadlines or challenges arise. Ensure projects are completed to company quality standards.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience in construction, roofing, landscaping, or related industry. Strong estimating and project planning skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. A team player who takes pride in their work and "steps up" when needed. Problem-solver with a can-do attitude. Valid driver's license with a clean abstract.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
