The Kitchen is the in-house agency at Kraft Heinz, bringing together a range of disciplines and capabilities. It\xe2\x80\x99s an agile team of creatives, producers, data analysts and social experts working together to deliver remarkable ideas, with a focus on digital and social media.

This team moves at the speed of culture. It is built to respond to trends and events as they happen, coming up with the ideas that transcend social media to capture the spirit of the moment, earn media impressions, and get the country talking.

OUR SUMMER SQUAD

Applications are open to current post-secondary students and recent graduates. We also welcome applicants from historically underrepresented groups, or professionals making a career transition with less than 3 years of experience looking to take the next step in their career

This is a summer contract that will give you valuable exposure and skill-building opportunities within several of our departments. Salt XC\xe2\x80\x99s Summer Squad will consist of a 4-month long contract, full-time hours, from May to August 2023, with opportunity for a contract extension beyond this date.

Over the duration of the program, you can expect opportunities to network, meet Salters across other departments, participate in additional Learning & Development Opportunities, and receive mentorship from those currently in their desired field.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As Project Coordinator, you will get first-hand experience of how a busy social/digital agency work. You will get to work on some of North America\xe2\x80\x99s biggest food brands (Heinz Ketchup, Philadelphia, Kraft Mac and Cheese, etc.) and gain valuable insight into how a large marketing department operates across not just advertising, but also brand communications, media, digital experiences and PR.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting the production, business, and operations teams.
  • Prepping shoots: building call-sheets, booking travel, sourcing props, liasing with freelancers and vendors, etc.
  • Project management: booking meetings, keeping pod/teams updated, tracking costs, amending workback schedules, attending meetings and taking notes, tracking feedback, building decks, checking deliverables and tracking assets, etc.
  • Post-Production oversight (editorial, motion graphics, etc.): checking in on progress of edits, ensuring scripts are written on time, edits are on schedule, etc.
  • General admin: organizing files and deliverables, updating online records, writing POs, etc.
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
  • A highly organised, proactive, efficient person with exceptional inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of advertising team roles, functions, and overall processes.
  • Positive attitude, team player, no job too big or small, and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Someone happy to ask for advice but also able to work independently wherever possible.
  • Have a passion for social/digital advertising and online cultural trends (we don\xe2\x80\x99t do traditional TV, radio, etc.).
