This role sits within LBC Tech, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank.
The incumbent is responsible for supporting the Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) in the planning, execution, control of projects contributing to project delivery within the established deadlines and budgets to the satisfaction of the bank business lines
Responsibilities:
Supports EPMO in the application of the methodology and required follow-ups
Performs various financial analyses, such as reconciliations and variance analyses
Supports preparation of budgets and forecasts on projects and track financial project metrics
Assists with the execution of Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) functional tasks, and supporting the production of a variety of management reports
Interacts regularly with the lead/supervisor to present various analyses, discuss recommendations, and provide project financial advice
Supports EPMO in developing budget planning scenarios and preparing timelines
Identifies project financial and scheduling issues and makes recommendations to Project Managers as needed
Informs Project Managers of any irregularity with deliverables and financial gaps
Performs minute taking, records decisions and discussions, and tracking of action items
Qualifications:
University degree. Major in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management
At least 5 years experience in coordination and/or projects control
Advanced knowledge in MS Project and best practices in project management and PMI terms of reference
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Teamwork, interpersonal skills and good communication with different partners and clients
Demonstrate autonomy and initiative
Possess practical knowledge of Microsoft office tools
Assets
Experience in the Banking sector
Working experience in a financial analysis role
Good understanding of a project life cycle
Work experience with the enterprise version of MS Project
Working Experience with Microsoft Project Online
EN/FR Bilingualism* is a plus but not mandatory

Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages.\xe2\x80\x9d
