Your contribution!

Reporting to the FP&A Director, you will be responsible for tracking information on certain projects and maintaining the procedures in place, in collaboration with the project management teams. You will play a key role in the consolidation of project information across the 4 regions operated by the company. In addition. You will work closely with the VPs responsible for the regions and their teams. You will also be responsible for producing Board of Directors materials and various activity reports.

Your day-to-day!

Project Control:

  • Work closely with region VPs, Project Managers and project teams;
  • Coordinates the consolidation of project information across the 4 company operated regions into the project data management platform (INNsite);
  • Organize and coordinate recurring meetings and agenda management;
  • Ensure data quality is maintained and verify legitimacy of project data, requested changes. Identifies discrepancies and recommends corrective actions;
  • Create new projects in the database following the procedure set up by the company and ensure that the teams follow the project life cycle process as defined by the company; create accounting codes, team, document management, budget and other key performance indicators;
  • Ensure approval of status progress of all projects as per company process and measure progress of pipeline projects using Project Maturity table analysis and pipeline NPV (Net Present Value) modeling ;
  • On a quarterly basis, produce CA presentations and coordinate project activity reports with FP&A ;
  • Coordinate and monitor actual vs. budgeted spend information with accounting (monthly and quarterly)
  • Assist in the coordination of the annual budget exercise ;
  • Develops and maintains constructive and cooperative working relationships with key project team members;
  • Responds to situations to contain/mitigate short-term risks in accordance with established processes and procedures;
  • Identifies and recommends improvements to complex processes that affect own area; May implement potential process improvements in own and related areas;
Monitoring of investment projects (M&A):
  • Interact with the VP Investment & Finance and his team;
  • Responsible for the management of the email box and exercise discretion regarding the highly confidential nature of the information;
  • Ensure input of new deal data into the M&A pipeline
  • Coordinate the integration of M&A projects in accordance with existing processes (project code, team, secure file, etc...);
  • Monitor the progress of M&A projects and coordinate the overall progress control;
  • Participate in weekly meetings and provide support to the team.
Your skills, our requirements!
  • University degree in Project Management, Business Administration or other relevant discipline
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position in a public company with multiple entities
  • Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management), database and ERP systems.
  • Experience in budget tracking and project accounting.
  • Fluency in French and English, written and spoken

  • The position is based at the company's head office located in Longueuil, steps away from the Longueuil-Universite de Sherbrooke metro station.
  • This position is a P1 level.
