Members of JANA\'s Delivery Pods, JANA\'s Project Analysts are technical contributors that utilize their specific knowledge and skills to support the Project Manager, Integrity Analyst, Business Analyst, and Application Specialist. They contribute to the successful completion of the project by constructing work plans, scheduling workshops, and stakeholder communication. Project Analysts will participate in all aspects of the projects that they are assigned; they learn by observing and by helping other Delivery Pods members with tasks as required.

JANA\'s Project Analysts are responsible for supporting projects from conception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Several projects are typically in the process of being completed at any given time, and a Project Coordinator must be able to manage multiple aspects of the process simultaneously. Project Analysts work cross-functionally and communicate with all parties involved in a project.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates multiple project activities throughout the project lifecycle
  • Organizes, attends, and participates in stakeholder meetings
  • Documents and follows up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Prepares necessary presentation materials for meetings
  • Chairs and facilitates meetings where appropriate, and distributes minutes to all project team members
  • Provides support to project teams and keeps the teams informed of pertinent issues
  • Learns by observing and by helping the Project Manager, Integrity Analyst, Business Analyst, and Application Specialist as required
Required Skills & Experience
  • Undergraduate degree in a STEM field, preferably Engineering
  • 0 - 2 years of in client-facing and/or software implementation roles, preferably with pipeline operational knowledge
  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Competency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with databases and networking, including experience installing client software an asset
  • Experience in MS SQL Server or another RDBMS like Oracle, DB2, Teradata, etc. an asset
  • Experience using data visualisation software including Visio, Power BI, etc. an asset
  • Ability to work on tight deadlines
  • Must be able to travel in the US and Canada up to 20% of the time
