Position: EfficiencyOne plans to launch a new service offering in 2023 for residential new construction called Advanced New Homes. The program replaces EfficiencyOne\'s former new home construction program and will encourage the construction of even higher-performance homes by offering builders financial incentives for meeting certain energy performance thresholds and training to improve industry capacity in this area. The program will also provide increased support for affordable single and multi-unit housing. EfficiencyOne is looking for a Program Manager to lead the ongoing design and delivery of the Advanced New Homes service. The Program Manager oversees a small internal team and a group of external Delivery Agents to ensure the program achieves its annual energy-saving targets within budget. The Program Manager is an excellent communicator who is self-driven, well-organized, detail-oriented, creative, and adaptable. A snapshot of what you will be involved with:
Responsible to develop and maintain an annual program budget to ensure performance targets are achieved.
Responsible to see the predecessor program, New Home Construction, through to closure in summer 2023
Responsible to recognize accomplishments, setting annual performance goals for team members, and providing ongoing coaching and opportunities for learning and development to help employees achieve personal, team, and corporate goals;
Responsible to determine the program\'s operational priorities and plan for long-term success.
Responsible to develop and maintain all aspects of the program structure including, but not limited to, eligibility criteria, participant process, incentive structure, eligible measures, website content, printed materials, application forms, and scope of work for Delivery Agents;
Responsible to oversee day-to-day program activities such as processing and approving Delivery Agents and customer payments; measuring and claiming energy savings from participating projects; fulfilling internal reporting requirements; handling escalated customer issues; developing and maintaining the program manual, logic model, evaluation plan, and associated documents; and supporting the annual evaluation/verification process, reviewing results, and implementing approved recommendations.
Responsible to lead program procurements as needed to select delivery agents and manage their performance through the life of the contracts.
Responsible to maintain a detailed database of program participant information including but not limited to participant contact information, home details, upgrade details, energy savings, and associated costs. Adhere to organizational data requirements.
Responsible to work with the Efficiency Preferred Partner network team to coordinate builder outreach activities that promote the program and engage the builder community.
Responsible to support the Customer Experience and Partnerships team in the development of outreach and marketing strategies and materials, aligning efforts with program goals;
What Will Help You Succeed?
University Degree or Diploma in a technical or business-related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Experience managing and developing direct report(s)
Experience in project management would be considered an asset along with knowledge of
budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Detail-oriented, customer focus, time management, and excellent oral and written communication
Self-motivated, take initiative and handle multiple tasks, and work to a high standard in an environment with tight timelines/deadlines.
Proficient with all Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
