Program Coordinator for an immediate hire
in a Full-Time Contract for 35 hours per week until September 2025 (with possibility for extension).
Essential duties & responsibilities:
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic advocate for
youth and mental health and addictions
who enjoys working with like-minded individuals. They must possess excellent interpersonal skills, able to be flexible and adapt to different dynamics, working within a small team in a fast-paced environment. They will be able to think "outside the box" and be creative in their work.
The Program Coordinator is responsible for leading the development, delivery, promotion, and continuous improvement of the Be Safe App and related youth mental health engagement programs. This includes coordinating partnerships, managing marketing and social media strategies, facilitating presentations and design labs, and ensuring all activities align with

's mission to support and empower youth.
The individual will possess excellent communication, group facilitation and presentation skills and will be expected to facilitate presentations and maintain ongoing relationships with community stakeholders. A strong understanding of social media engagement and marketing will be an asset. This position will include content development for mindyourmind.ca and other
mind
your
mind
websites and channels as required.
Requirements and qualifications:
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in the Human Services Field
Minimum 3 years working in a youth social service organization, collaborating with youth and external stakeholders
Experience in program development, group facilitation, and engaging young people
Knowledge & Commitment
Strong knowledge and sensitivity to the complexities of youth mental health and addictions, with a commitment to improving youth mental health
Understanding of marketing principles and social media strategies relevant to the

program
Understanding and commitment to diversity and inclusion in the workplace
Skills & Abilities
Strong organizational skills, including planning, delegating, and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work effectively and respectfully with youth
Ability to engage, manage, and maintain relationships with a wide variety of external stakeholders, including representing

Strong communication skills, including excellent presentation, written, verbal, and group facilitation abilities
Proficiency in administrative tasks, including maintaining databases and conducting audits

Excellent interpersonal skills and proven leadership capacity
Strong proficiency in computer programs such as Google Workspace and Excel
