Lennon House: Program Coordinator Overview of Lennon House Lennon Recovery House Association Inc. (Lennon House) is a nonprofit charity with the purpose of providing a safe home like atmosphere for individuals recovering from substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. We provide residents with a stable living environment while they are learning skills and working on their individual personal plan of recovery. Lennon House is an abstinence-based environment and offers evidence-based programs and services that will help to build a strong foundation for recovery. House opened in 2020. We are a place of recovery and we are continuing to grow and redefine ourselves! This is a full-time permanent position that will change lives and, in some cases, even save lives. The Program Coordinator is a position responsible for overseeing the delivery of case management for our residents. From managing and assessing individuals on the waitlist; to participating in the delivering of day to day evidence based education programs; to organizing and participating in case management meetings; to offering a virtual aftercare program. Lennon House is a dynamic place to work. \xe2\x97\x8f Work with people struggling with mental health and addiction issues by way of having a comprehensive knowledge of client-centered mental health and addiction s interventions and practices \xe2\x97\x8f Manage the wait list through ongoing screening, actively engaging pre-admissions to monitor readiness. \xe2\x97\x8f Complete assessments for intake and monitor ongoing assessment during residents\' stay. \xe2\x97\x8f Oversee development of individualized case plans and goals. Provide service coordination as needed. \xe2\x97\x8f Facilitate and co-facilitate evidence based Co-Ed group sessions. Ongoing program evaluation. \xe2\x97\x8f Implement follow up initiatives and long-term evaluation process; offer virtual aftercare program. \xe2\x97\x8f Have a strong knowledge of community resources; refer and connect residents to appropriate services; initiate and participate in case conferences \xe2\x97\x8f Assist with resident emergencies. Be available for on call by way of phone as scheduled. \xe2\x97\x8f Have efficient practice skills; conflict resolution; excellent verbal and written communication skills \xe2\x97\x8f Advocate with, and on behalf of residents. \xe2\x97\x8f other duties as required Requirements \xe2\x97\x8f Applicants must have a relevant Bachelor\'s Degree.
\xe2\x97\x8f Valid driver\'s license
\xe2\x97\x8f Vulnerable record check Experience \xe2\x97\x8f A minimum of three years experience working with clients with complex needs (addiction & mental health) \xe2\x97\x8f Experience in group facilitation (preferably evidence based groups like DBT, Seeking Safety) .
\xe2\x97\x8f Knowledge of related community resources.
\xe2\x97\x8f Good people skills and ability to work with those in recovery.
\xe2\x97\x8f Current certification of First aid, CPR, Crisis intervention, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (other addiction training is considered an asset).
\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent communication skills as well as organizational and time management skills.
\xe2\x97\x8f Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows and GSuite.
\xe2\x97\x8f Current Police and vulnerable sector check.
\xe2\x97\x8f Valid Driver\xe2\x80\x99s License.
