Assemble products to current instructions, bill of materials and drawings
Utilize and maintain the tools provided
Assist in materials and product prep for manufacturing
Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications
Assist in maintaining a clean shop facility.
Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices or products
Keep production logs and provide reports to shift supervisors
Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies and procedures for healthy, safety and environmental compliance
Perform other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and metal components
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools and mechanical assembly
Familiarity with lathe and forklift
Overhead crane training would be valuable
Strong mechanical aptitude
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Experience
Some experience in manufacturing / shop environment preferred.
Special Conditions of Employment
Overtime will be required.
Must be able to lift / move a minimum of 50lb.
Must have a valid drivers license, clean driver's abstract and reliable mode of transportation
