Job Overview:

As a Production Helper, you will play a crucial role in our plastic pallet manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting machine operators, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role requires a valid forklift license and involves tasks such as cleaning and managing loose plastic materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist Machine Operators:

Support machine operators by preparing materials, loading and unloading components, and ensuring machinery is stocked and functioning properly.

Material Handling:

Operate forklifts (if licensed) to transport raw materials and finished plastic pallets within the facility. Ensure proper storage and handling.

Production Support:

Conduct routine tasks including inspecting and sorting plastic materials, assisting with product assembly, and packaging finished pallets.

Cleaning and Shoveling:

Regularly clean and shovel loose plastic materials from the production area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

Cleanliness:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, including the proper disposal of waste materials and debris.

Documentation:

Accurately record production activities, material usage, and any incidents or discrepancies during shifts.

Additional Tasks:

Perform any additional duties assigned by the Shift Supervisor or Plant Supervisor to support production goals and operational needs.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous but not required.

Forklift License:

A valid forklift license is mandatory.

Skills:

+ Basic understanding of production processes, particularly in plastic pallet manufacturing.
+ Ability to assist with machine operation.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
+ Good physical stamina and capability to lift and move heavy objects.
+ Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
+ Experience or willingness to handle and clean loose plastic materials.
