AGCO\'s Massey Ferguson Division has an exciting opportunity for a Product Specialist to join its sales team in delivering extraordinary results throughout defined geography Saskatchewan & Manitoba provinces in Canada. The Product Specialist plays a key role in building dealer relationships to grow share of wallet within a dealership and build customer relationships that drive market share and devotion within the territory. They are a key member of the local territory and district. They work closely with the Account Managers to perform local strategies as agreed in the annual business plan. They help the dealer focus on customer allegiance / retention by following a robust sales process that includes head management, product training and customer demonstrations focused on matching AGCO products to customers\' needs. They collaborate with assigned sales team to explain the advantages of our products to dealer personnel to drive wholesale and then follow through with head management, training and demonstrations to drive retail - all in alignment of the annual business plan.

What you will do:

  • Customer and Dealer guidance to include product training, sales training, machine startups, equipment demonstrations and AGCO system and tool training, customer visits
  • Dealer Development plans to include working with the Account Manager developing and implementing tactics to grow market share, completing Dealer Excellence program plans
  • Regional Support to include attending and participating in Trade Shows, Field Days, Dealer Events, New Product Introductions, Liaise with Massey Ferguson Marketing and other functional teams, other internal administrative accountabilities
What you will bring:
  • High school diploma
  • 5+ years of experience working in a sales, customer service, and/or a technical support role working at an agricultural equipment manufacturer or dealership
  • Experience operating agricultural equipment
A plus if you have:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in agriculture oriented fields
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically using Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Salesforce CRM experience
  • 2+ years of sales experience in a dealer-based distribution channel
  • 1+ years\' experience working with Ag equipment
  • Strong communication skills
