As part of Vention\'s Procurement team, reporting to the VP of procurement and strategic
sourcing, you will be part of a team of 5 supply chain experts, operating a global procurement network made of hundreds of suppliers and 2,000+ SKUs. You will be responsible of executing tactical, strategic and development activities to promote a competitive advantage for Vention and support customer driven needs.

Responsibilities
\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for the execution of the overall purchasing process from preparation and
execution of tenders to order fulfillment including screening of purchasing requisitions and
issuance of purchase orders.
\xe2\x97\x8f Develop, issue and analyze comprehensive RFx
\xe2\x97\x8f Manage PO\xe2\x80\x99s and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance.
\xe2\x97\x8f Ensure effective engagement, collaboration and cooperation with internal clients and
suppliers
\xe2\x97\x8f Identify and evaluate areas of opportunity for cost reduction
\xe2\x97\x8f Perform Total Cost of Ownership evaluations and supply-market research.
\xe2\x97\x8f Engage with key partners to establish deep supplier relationships.
\xe2\x97\x8f Understand competitive landscape and market trends to identify business opportunities.
\xe2\x97\x8f Lead vendor, contract and parts negotiations
\xe2\x97\x8f Execute sourcing strategies and procurement plans to support Vention\xe2\x80\x99s corporate and
internal client\xe2\x80\x99s strategies and objectives.
\xe2\x97\x8f Work collaboratively with internal clients, functional SME\xe2\x80\x99s and suppliers to define
requirements, timing and scope

Qualifications

• You have a degree in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering
• You bring 3+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a global procurement position;
• You have excellent communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary team;
• You have firm understanding of procurement process and corporate governance
• principles;
• You have Excellent organizational skills and pay close attention to details. Your work is always up to date.
• You have a strong ability to build and maintain relationships, internally and externally.
• You have a passion for negotiations. Ability to develop fact-based recommendations to internal stakeholders.
• You showed the ability to work in a fast-paced (next day deliveries) and high volume (parcel shipments) with energy and enthusiasm;
• Business savvy with excellent problem-solving techniques and methods to understand cost breakdowns and associated cost drivers of manufacturing processes.
• You have an interest in engineering topics and are curious to learn more.
• Previous Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
• APICS or SCMP certification is an asset
