Irving, Limited in Dieppe is currently seeking a full-time Sourcing Specialist, Capital & MRO.The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for the strategic sourcing of Capital Projects and MRO categories, as assigned. The successful candidate will be responsible to work with Procurement leaders, team members, and other stakeholders from a broad range of departments (Maintenance, Engineering, Finance, Safety, Operations, IT, etc.) to drive procurement initiatives through to a successful outcome and facilitating stakeholder engagement and change management.Qualifications:

• Education Required:

• Bachelor Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Engineering or related degree.
• Years of Experience Required:

• 2+ years of related experience or similar combination of education and experience.
• Following are considered assets:

• Related work experience focusing on procurement processes in the categories of Capital Projects and MRO.
• Successful completion or current enrollment in CIPS, SCMP, or ISM.
• Good understanding of J.D. Edwards ERP solution, especially the Procurement functionality.
• Intermediate or advanced capability in Excel and data mining.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, change management and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Driven to do things right the first time!
• Ability to plan, prioritize, negotiate, resolve conflict, and escalate when necessary to keep projects moving forward.
• Ability to deal with competing priorities and demands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong internal and external relationships while performing all duties and responsibilities within established procedures and standards of ethical conduct.
• Actively participate in the creation of Category Strategies and Supplier Relationship Management Programs.
• Maintain awareness of market conditions to determine availability of products/services, price benchmarking, new suppliers and innovations for specific product categories.
• Perform the purchasing functions including preparation of standard RFx and supply agreement documents.
