Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Produce Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the quality and presentation of our produce section while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for helping customers find the freshest fruits and vegetables.

Duties

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the produce department, ensuring all products are displayed attractively. Assist customers by providing knowledgeable information about produce items. Restock shelves with fresh produce and ensure that all items are properly labeled. Perform cashiering duties when required, handling transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain high standards of customer service. Communicate effectively with customers and staff to ensure a positive shopping experience. Preparation of value added products such as sandwiches, vegetable & fruit trays, salads etc. Complete orders related to the produce deptartment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong organizational skills to maintain inventory levels and product displays. Ability to clean and maintain work areas in compliance with health and safety regulations. Excellent communication skills to effectively assist customers and work within a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
