Job description:

Join AGD's dynamic team as a?Produce/Fresh Cut Associate, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the quality and freshness of our products for our valued customers.

Job Responsibilities:

Prepare and assemble fresh salads, fruit, and vegetable trays according to established recipes and daily orders Cut, slice, dice, and portion fruits and vegetables Package produce items into containers or trays, ensuring proper labeling and adherence to food safety standards Repack cases of produce into single or multiple quantities based on direction from leadership Conduct quality control checks on incoming produce shipments to identify and remove damaged or spoiled items Cull produce to remove any items that do not meet quality standards Perform date checks on produce items to ensure compliance with freshness guidelines and prevent waste Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including washing and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and surfaces Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize the risk of contamination and ensure product safety Adhere to workplace safety protocols and guidelines, including adherence to the proper PPE requirements Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to coordinate workflow and address any issues or concerns Uphold company policies and standards for quality, productivity, and customer service excellence All other related duties as required

Warehouse Cold temperatures CSA boots required

Qualifications

The successful applicant(s) will work well in a team environment with minimal supervision. You must be able to perform repetitive tasks, maintain a high level of quality control, be consistent, have a positive attitude, and have weekend availability.
