A day in the life of an Processor Account Servicing and Maintenance includes the following:

Work Location: 885 West Georgia Street, Vancouver, V6C 3G1

Completes a broad range of highly complex and specialized operational duties within Small Business Banking, ensuring timely completion and compliance with established internal standards and external regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Support onboarding of Small Business customers and ongoing customer management requirements (product/service fulfillment, documentation support, customer review support)
  • Assist with various queries, including newly on boarded clients and accounting integration
  • Prepare and review credit documents for various Small Business Banking products and complete amendments as required
  • Review and action product and operations related reports
  • Maintain superior and courteous service to internal and external contacts
  • Continually reassess and ensure operational risks are minimized, internal controls are adhered to and regulatory and compliance requirements are met
  • Maintain the levels of operational integrity required by HSBC Group, closely managing your individual and the collective performance of your wider team.
  • Ensure that all employees are aware of and effectively identify and manage applicable money laundering (ML), terrorist financing (TF), sanctions and reputational risks.
Requirements
  • Minimum of four years proven and progressive operational experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Business or related field desired
  • Well-developed communications, organizational, decision-making and customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge of products, services, policies and regulations of Small Business/Commercial Banking
  • Operational understanding of the various functions in Retail Banking Wealth Management
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a passion for developing a culture of empowerment
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability.
  • Proven ability to learn and operate new software and technology.
  • High attention to detail with advanced time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in office 2 days per week in Vancouver.
  • Fluency in French is considered an asset.
