We are looking for a motivated individual to join to the Sussex Sawmill team as a Maintenance Planner.

As a Maintenance Planner at the Sussex Sawmill, you will be responsible for:

• Pre-planning maintenance jobs and projects.
• Ordering material for work order execution.
• Coordinating work with the production department and ensuring that all equipment and machinery are functioning to full capacity.
• Regular servicing and maintenance of all machinery and equipment and ensuring the proper functioning.
• Ensuring the proper usage of maintenance tools and equipment for repairs.
• Maintaining records of service cycles and other maintenance activities.
• Initiating, maintaining, and updating the Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Delegating work orders to the maintenance team.
• Following and promoting all safety regulations and practices.

Qualifications:

• Education Required: Post-secondary education (Certification, Diploma, Degree), preferably in a technical or mechanical related discipline.
• Years of Experience Required:

• 2-4 years of maintenance planning experience, or
• 3-5 years of experience in an industrial setting
• Committed to top performance in a safe work environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.
• Good leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to coordinate work with other internal departments
