Description:

ATCO Frontec is seeking a temporary Maintenance Planner to join the Facility Operations and Maintenance Support (FOMS) Team in Calgary, Alberta. This role will be responsible for the development and standardization of new and existing maintenance plans/items within the company\'s CMMS. This role reports directly to the Systems Maintenance Manager.

This is a Fixed-Term Role ending in December 2024

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Create new maintenance plans designed to maintain a variety of commercial equipment.
  • Review and improve existing maintenance plans based on code updates, industry standards, and experience.
  • Act as the central point of contact for the coordination and implementation of new preventive maintenance plans between the Systems, Mobilization, and Site Teams.
  • Assist with daily change requests (CR\'s) and system maintenance.
  • Travel to new site locations and support the Mobilization Team during new site asset verification.
  • Consult with the Site Project Manager on contractual needs. Ensure site needs and FOMS Team needs are kept in alignment.
  • Design and consult on the CMMS architecture for specific projects and from a company wide perspective.
  • Lead monthly planning meetings with project representatives, sites, and teams to review and analyze maintenance events planned to happen in the coming month.
  • Lead the engagement and collaboration with external stakeholders i.e. vendors/contractors to coordinate maintenance event start dates with ongoing operational planned activities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise - including but not limited to:
  • Provide guidance on regulatory requirements for inspection and providing feedback for inspection strategies/results
  • Maintain relevant code libraries and conduct periodic reviews of preventative maintenance instructions to ensure compliance with all codes and regulations.
  • Assist in reviewing related documentation during the bidding phases of projects
  • Assist in developing condition assessment requirements during the intake of new assets
Qualifications:
  • 5 or more years of maintenance experience in a commercial facilities maintenance or light industrial environment, or in a customer service environment utilizing maintenance management software.
  • Technically qualified in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Facilities, Operations & Maintenance.
  • Must have operated in a CMMS for 3+ years (SAP and/or ServiceMax would be an asset).
  • Must be able to travel for asset verification and training, periodically.
  • Ability to obtain a reliability and secret level security clearance from the Canadian government.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and handle a high volume of work with accuracy, while prioritizing.
  • Must have created PM Plans and understands the physical limitations of completing such work.
  • Must be highly proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and Office 365.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience and/or exposure to general accounting practices and systems would be an asset.
  • Strong oral and written English communication skills.
  • Class 5 driving license as a minimum.
