Please note: this position is a temporary 12-month opportunity.

As ATB's next Technical Analyst on the Process Automation team, you will utilize their education, experience and skills of information technology to support ATB's Technology Enablement operations team. This position will coordinate technical environment support and administration of the ATB environment. In addition, the position supports file transfers, job scheduling/administration, setup, configuration, alerts and monitoring issues related to the SAP environment.

  • Administration, configuration, maintenance, support and development of our Enterprise File Transfer System (MFT).
  • Administration, configuration, maintenance, support and development of our enterprise SAP Business Process Automation tool (Redwood).
  • Work with project stakeholders, management, the operations department, and contractors to gather requirements, coordinate scheduling, configuration and implementation, and prepare support handoff runbooks for the 24*7 Technical Operations Center.
  • Day-to-day operations support, assisting with Technical Operations Center escalations and MIOs (outages) serving as SME, ensuring client and business needs are met.
  • Support and management during DR simulation exercise and provide SME during actual DR situations.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the necessary support and coordination is provided.
  • Create, support and maintain system documentation and training materials.
  • Provide Tier-II system support for infrastructure-related issues and the management of application services.
  • Provide training and guidance to our TOC support partners
  • Respond to and resolve infrastructure-related incidents and problems, and monitor and evaluate overall system performance as well as day-to-day system activity on servers.
  • Analyze production events and turn system-related alerts and monitors as needed.
  • Adhere to ATB's operational processes: Follow support guidelines and runbook procedures. Raise SN incident tickets where applicable.
Requirements
  • Flexibility to perform after hours, evenings and weekend support on an on-call basis in our 365/24/7 environment
  • ITIL v4 fundamentals knowledge
  • Experience with the below is beneficial:
  • SAP and SAP BASIS
  • SAP BPA - RunMyJobs - Redwood
  • IBM Sterling File Gateway, Integrator, Perimeter Services - Managed File Transfer.
  • Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, AIX)
  • Database (DB2, SQL, Suse, HANA)
  • Networking
  • Monitoring (Splunk, Solarwinds, Redwood, Solution Manager)
  • Knowledge of various File Transfer Protocols
  • Service Now
  • JIRA management
  • G-Suite
  • Personal accountability, self-motivation and a commitment to deliver customer service excellence are must-haves.
  • Tactful and professional communication skills in both verbal and written environments.
  • A team player who is willing to work hard, and have some fun while doing so.
  • Requires interpersonal skills such as Critical thinking, systems thinking & problem solving
Prerequisites:
  • A degree or diploma in computer science
  • 3+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
