Job Description
On behalf of our large, public-sector client based in Vancouver, Ignite Technical Resources is seeking a Junior Technical Analyst to join their team for the initial 12 months contract opportunity. The successful candidate will be working in the cybersecurity and compliance team, to assist in technical support.
Mandatory Requirements:
- A minimum one (1) years of work experience
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree, technical diploma, or certificate in Telecommunications, Electronics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent
- Good working knowledge in IT infrastructure technology concepts including data centre, system management, end point devices, virtualization, storage, security, and mobile device support and management
- Good working knowledge in third party vendor management
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
- Excellent communication skills for professional environment, written and spoken
- Enterprise level/Crown corp experience
- Utilities industry experience
- Completed background checks (identity, criminal record, employment verification, public safety database search, education, and professional accreditation verification check) will be required prior to the start date if you are selected as a winning candidate
- You will be required to provide your own laptop, basic software tools, and cell phone.
