BFL CANADA is looking for a Private Client Services Advisor for its Winnipeg office!
The primary purpose of this position is to identify and pursue new business opportunities and to maintain and service a profitable book of business based upon the company\xe2\x80\x99s objectives and individual business plans.
Your day as a Private Client Services Advisor
Administrative

  • Print correspondence as needed and maintain electronic files (EPIC) to ensure that they are organized and up to date.
  • Process cover notes/binders, invoices, renewal and endorsement letters, memos, and other documentation as required.
  • Create activities and follow up for outstanding items.
  • Process incoming mail and direct to the appropriate person on the Team.
  • Ensure all correspondence is accurate and flows in a timely manner.
Accounting
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding client accounts receivables.
  • Liaise with the Accounting Department and insurers to resolve accounting discrepancies and related issues.
Client/Insurer
  • Provide exceptional client service for residential clients.
  • Respond to telephone calls and written inquiries from clients and underwriters in a timely and professional manner.
  • Produce new business through networking and various other means of prospecting.
  • Ensure the terms and coverages meet or exceed the expectations and objectives of each client.
  • Ensure maximum retention of existing clients. Provide exceptional client service by regularly contacting clients to ensure quality service is being delivered and needs are met and exceeded.
  • Ensure new business as well as renewals and endorsements are placed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identify needs of prospective clients through research and involvement with relevant resources.
  • Develop account strategies, presentations, and other forms of communication with client.
  • Prepare and present proposals of appropriate products and services to new and existing clients.
  • Participate in industry functions and targeted public relations activities.
  • Oversee the preparation of underwriting submissions, maintain appropriate documentation for various accounts and/or correspondence.
  • Service commercial fleet clients, including but not limited to: renewals, change requests, invoicing, issuance of certificates, and more
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties and special projects as required.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum 2 years industry related experience.
  • Experience with home insurance and company portals is considered an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well independently, as part of a team and with others throughout the organization.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Customer focused and service oriented.
  • High attention to detail and precision.
  • Knowledge of Epic system is an asset.
