About the Role

Savage Emblems is currently seeking a focused and reliable

Print Production Operator

to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling high-volume production demands, operating laser etching machines, and managing various printing workflows.

The ideal candidate is a process-driven individual who thrives in a busy environment, possesses extreme attention to detail, and is comfortable working with order management software to keep production on track.

Key Responsibilities

Machine Operation:

Operate and monitor laser etching machines and other digital printers to produce high-quality custom emblems and products.

High-Volume Production:

Efficiently manage workflow to meet daily production targets and strict deadlines without compromising quality.

Order Management:

Follow daily routines strictly based on work orders generated by our Order Management Software. You must ensure the right files are printed on the right materials every time.

Equipment Maintenance:

Perform daily cleaning and routine maintenance on laser etchers and printers to ensure equipment runs at peak performance.

Quality Control:

Inspect raw materials before printing and check finished products for accuracy, alignment, and defects.

Inventory:

Assist in monitoring stock levels for ink, substrates, and production materials.

Qualifications & Skills

Experience:

Prior experience in a print shop, sign shop, or manufacturing environment operating laser engravers or wide-format printers is highly preferred.

Attention to Detail:

This is a "must-have." You must be able to spot errors in artwork or production quality immediately.

Tech Savvy:

Comfortable learning and navigating Order Management Software and RIP software.

Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for coordinating with the design and shipping teams.

Organization:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize the daily workload.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods during the production shift. Ability to lift and move materials (up to [e.g., 30-50] lbs) as needed. Manual dexterity for handling small parts and finishing work.
