Job Description
Requirements:
A diploma in Developmental Services, Social Services Community Service Worker and Educational Assistance A demonstrated commitment to the Mission, Vision and Values of the organization. A minimum of 1-year experience supporting people with physical and intellectual disabilities, autism, mental health as well as challenging personal expression (behavior). Experience in supporting people in their daily activities of their choice. Knowledge and understanding of how to facilitate and support Person Centered Planning. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable with computer applications an asset. Must be available to work all shifts - days, evenings, nights and weekends. Empowering people to be active in their community and live the life they choose. Provide a high standard of quality care including daily living supports, medical, family needs, recreational, financial and over all wellbeing while working closely with their team and in-home manager.
