We are seeking a

Level 3 Primary Early Childhood Educator

to join our

Infant Classroom

at our West Hillhurst campus -- an inspiring, calm, and collaborative space where our youngest learners begin their Blum journey.

About the Role

As the Primary Educator in the Infant Classroom, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that supports each student's sense of security, belonging, and exploration. You will guide daily routines, foster developmental milestones, and collaborate closely with families and colleagues to ensure every student feels seen, valued, and cared for.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and implement Montessori- and Reggio-inspired experiences that reflect the developmental needs of infants aged 12-19 months Create a peaceful, predictable environment where students can thrive emotionally, socially, and physically Observe and document student learning to share meaningful insights with families Support sensory and motor development through intentional, hands-on exploration Establish warm, trusting relationships with students and families through consistent communication and care Maintain a safe, organized, and hygienic classroom environment in accordance with Alberta licensing and Blum standards Collaborate with fellow Educators and campus leadership to ensure smooth daily operations and cohesive team practices Model Blum Kindness(TM) -- leading with empathy, professionalism, and respect in every interaction

Qualifications

Alberta Early Childhood Educator Level 3 Certification (required) Minimum 2 years of experience in a licensed early learning or Montessori/Reggio environment Deep understanding of infant development, attachment, and responsive caregiving Exceptional communication and collaboration skills Valid First Aid & CPR, and clear Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Search

Pay: $18.50-$19.50 per hour
