The Preventative Maintenance/ Facilities Technician is responsible for providing support in facility related projects and preventative maintenance tasks. Must follow and comply with Cube Management Systems (CMS).WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Clean, lubricate and performing other routine preventative maintenance work on machinery.
• Daily inspection of machines and machine areas. Will maintain plant cleanliness via cleaning discovered spills and reporting them to the Maintenance Manager.
• Completing assigned daily PM's, which includes but is not limited to:

• Inspecting Vacuum Filters.
• Inspecting Water Strainers.
• Inspecting Vacuum screens.
• Inspecting hydraulic equipment.
• Inspecting pneumatic equipment.
• Disposing plant garbage and cardboard waste.
• Cleaning/inspecting cooling fans for electrical panels.
• Inspecting hydraulic oil levels on machines.
• Inspecting gearbox oil levels on machines.

• Completing assigned facility work, which includes but is not limited to:

• Changing facility light bulbs.
• Battery replacement to hand soap units.
• Battery replacement to hands free sinks/toilets.
• General assembly of shelving/storage units.
• Minor repairs to plant doors/windows.
• Facility snow clearing for walking paths at entrances.
• General Facility painting.
• Assisting when needed with Parts department.

• Follow the company's safety rules, policies, work instructions and SOPs
• Wear PPEs as required
• Notify Maintenance Manager of any dangerous situation
• Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Interest in building and repairing a variety of mechanical systems
• Injection moulding or industrial manufacturing experience preferred
• Physical strength and stamina. Able to lift 50lbs and work at heights.
• Good verbal communication skills
• Ability to work to exacting standards
• Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
• Safety awareness and a responsible work attitude
• Analytical approach to problem-solving

SALARY: Dependent on experienceStandard hours of work are Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm - on occasion there will be the need to work outside of these hours to attend meetings, conduct orientation and training sessions, etc.We value diversity and strive to make everyone feel included and respected.
