About this opportunity:

As a member of Maintenance & Reliability in Canadian Thermal & Conventional Heavy Oil (CTCHO), the Preventative Maintenance Planner (Electrical) will be accountable to develop and implement maintenance strategies to mitigate the risk of equipment failure.

The planner will be accountable for the development and sustainment of the preventative maintenance (PM) program. This includes collaborating with the asset-based teams to actively manage the spare parts, PM plans, task lists, and items to optimize the strategies for maximize reliability, efficiency, and safety.

In addition to taking initiative, this role has a high level of accountability, is deliverables focused and adapts quickly to changing priorities.

The role shall have experience scoping, planning and executing Reliability improvement projects and developing, working with or implementing maintenance or operational integrity management system standards and processes.

The individual must have the ability to collaborate with subject matter experts, field-based maintenance & operations leadership and front-line personnel

Experience facilitating conversations with cross functional teams to achieve alignment and managing change through large stakeholders is required.

Responsibilities:

Analyze existing maintenance strategies and KPI\xe2\x80\x99s to determine opportunity for improvements and support or lead gap closure.

Provide expertise to support or lead closure of site-specific Preventive maintenance programs gaps.

Develop template recommended practices for these plans where opportunities exist

Assist with development of site specific maintenance programs for new facilities and/or major expansions

Assist facilities with equipment specific criticalities associated with operational process equipment

Validate template job plans with field technicians and work with field experts to improve these plans

Provide expertise as needed for implementation vendors\' technical/service bulletins, upgrades, recalls, and internal Advisories, Alerts, and Bulletins associated with process equipment

Utilize Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) tools and processes to develop risk-based asset management strategies for new facilities and/or major expansions.

Provide expertise in development of Equipment Bill of Materials and identifying critical & operating spare inventory.

Develop Maintenance Programs in alignment with SCE Performance Standards

Support maintenance work planning, scheduling and execution improvement initiatives

Support the development of job aids and training materials to enhance knowledge and utilization of SAP PM Module.

Support the development and reporting of M&R KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and dashboards including the management of master data change request notifications and tasks

Deliverables:

Standardize and optimized Equipment Maintenance Strategies

Standardize and optimized Maintenance Plans

Equipment Bill of Materials and recommended inventory levels

Completion of Master Data Change Requests Notifications

Qualifications:

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Journeyperson Electrician registered or eligible for registration with SATCC, AAIT, or Red Seal Interprovincial Standards Program.

10+ years Planning and/or Maintenance & Reliability Experience in Oil and Gas

Experience in large facility operating environments, preferably upstream Thermal (SAGD) facilities, and ideally working in or directly with maintenance and operations teams.

Knowledge and experience with safe work practices in oil and gas production accompanied by a superior safety attitude.

10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Maintenance Management system and process development and implementation

Familiarity with industry standards related to equipment reliability, safety, and risk management

Knowledge in failure investigation and root cause determination

Strong knowledge of SAP PM module

Change management experience in managing change through large stakeholder groups
