CP Distributors has a current opening for an ambitious Pre-Installation Fabricator located in our Saskatoon, SK Branch.

The position is full-time for a highly motivated and organized professional and has tremendous growth opportunities.

As a Pre-Installation Fabricator, you will be responsible to:

• Safely operate various power tools including, handheld drills, grinders, reamers, saws, nail guns, scanners, and warehouse equipment;
• Perform light gauge metal welding and have a practical understanding of hollow metal and wood doors and their uses;
• Utilize overhead hoist, assembly jigs, and rotating equipment to preassemble hardware onto doors;
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to workplace policies;
• Provide exceptional customer service and work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your Experience:

• Ideally, you bring 1-2+ years of general welding experience or applied construction trades training;
• Experience operating a forklift is considered an asset;
• Experience with construction, specifically hollow metal door hardware installation. A strong mechanical background is considered an asset.

• Demonstrated attention to detail and focused on producing top-quality work;
• Quick learner and eager to take on new challenges. Including cross-training with various positions at our facility;
• Perform work unsupervised and as part of a team;
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues across our company maintaining our close-knit, team-oriented
