Position Overview: Manufacturing Shop Supervisor
As directed by the Manager of Prefabrication and reporting to the Prefabrication Operations Coordinator (POC), the role of the Shop Supervisor is to supervise and oversee the daily activity of all panel shop personnel and assist the POC in various administrative duties. This role serves as the first point of contact for any concerns and questions from panel shop operatives.
Responsibility Summary:
Assisting the POC in the hiring of tradesmen that perform prefabrication work in the facility to meet the
company's contractual obligations
Along with the POC, the Shop Supervisor is accountable for employee safety, workplace productivity,
training and mentorship.
The Shop Supervisor shall be in regular communication with the POC to understand the scopes and
schedules of all projects under contract.

The Shop Supervisor will conduct daily morning meetings with all team members to ensure progress is consistent and goals are met.
The Shop Supervisor will be responsible for completing QA/QC on all panels that leave the facility.
Along with the POC, ensuring the fabrication teams have the necessary skills, tools, equipment,
information, and material to efficiently complete the contracted work.
Seeking out and implementing innovative and novel methods to enhance performance while completing the contracted work should be a priority for this position.
The Shop Supervisor will implement and enforce Cullum Groups safety program at the facility
The Shop Supervisor will be a champion within the company for safety, efficiency, innovation, and productivity
Qualifications:
Experience with steel stud framing, and general construction will be considered an advantage
Experience with ACM finishing, and EIFS finishing will be considered an advantage
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience managing inventory and knowledge of Just In Time deliveries
Ability to utilize technology to assist in day-to-day production activities
Strong attention to detail and comfortable completing QA/QC checks/paperwork
Willingness to learn and work in a team environment
Proficiency in English is required for effective communication
Driving Licence and reliable vehicle essential

Starting rate between $30-35 per hour based on experience
