Job Description

The Partner Development Manager, also known as a Practice Builder, is responsible for driving business development, achieving sales targets, analyzing market trends, and identifying strategic partner relationships.


This role focuses on developing and promoting selling practices with key third-party partners and using performance metrics to evaluate partner effectiveness.


You will understand, drive and achieve sales targets on centrally designed initiatives, utilizing global tools to promote local channel business. You will be assigned to active opportunities to accelerate Partner sales, support complex deals configurations, and pricing.

Key Responsibilities



Lead business development efforts and execute sales targets for

Managed Print Solutions

and Print solutions. Drive adoption of portfolio-based, customer-centric selling practices across partner ecosystem Analyze market trends and identify potential partners with emerging capabilities. Develop capabilities and selling practices with priority partners. Leverage performance data to assess and improve partner effectiveness. Incubate business and grow revenue for assigned products and solutions. Collaborate with external resellers, distributors, and HP Financial Services. Select and segment partners, supporting their adoption, practice building, and certification in their focus area. Enable partners with value proposition, collaterals, training on their focus area, links them to technical support resources. Co-sell with partners until they can operate independently.

Education & Experience Recommended:



Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Proven experience in business development and sales, specifically in

Managed Print Services and the print industry.

Demonstrated success in market analysis and recruiting new partners. Strong organizational and program management skills. Experience in selling and stakeholder interaction.

Knowledge & Skills



Proficiency in business development and achieving sales targets for print and MPS solutions. Strong collaboration skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Expertise in market analysis, recruiting new partners, and onboarding them. Ability to leverage performance metrics to assess partner effectiveness. Digital fluency, including remote collaboration and AI-enabled sales tools.

New Technology and AI

: Interest and confidence in adopting new technologies, especially AI, to enhance sales performance and customer engagement. Ability to quickly learn and apply digital solutions and use AI insights for smarter decisions and personalized customer interactions.

Salary




The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $132,150 to $179,750 CAD annually with a 60%/40% (salary/incentive) mix.

Pay within this range will be based on the review of experience, skills, and internal equity.

As a full time, employee of HP Canada, you will be eligible to participate in the company's group benefit programs, including medical, dental, life insurance, and disability coverage, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. During your employment term, you will receive 15 paid vacation days per year prorated based on your start date.
