At Rebuild Response Group, our mission is simple yet powerful: To rebuild homes, businesses, and lives with precision, integrity, and unwavering commitment.
When disaster strikes -- from fire, wind, or water -- we step in to restore more than just structures. We rebuild trust, stability, and community confidence.
We're the only network of expert local builders in Canada specializing exclusively in large-loss reconstruction, standardizing our processes across residential, commercial, multi-unit, agricultural, and catastrophic (CAT) projects.
As our national presence continues to grow -- including a new partnership with a long-established commercial builder -- we're expanding our business development team to strengthen relationships in the commercial and large-loss insurance space across Canada.
About the Role
We're seeking a Business Development Specialist focused on commercial rebuilds following large-loss and CAT events.
This role will work nationally across Canada, complementing our existing Business Development Manager, who leads initiatives for residential and smaller commercial rebuilds in Ontario and Eastern Canada. We're seeking a candidate based in Ontario who can easily commute to our head office as needed for collaboration and team meetings.
The successful candidate will build and nurture relationships with insurance and claims professionals, adjusters, and stakeholders involved in major loss events, ensuring Rebuild Response is positioned as the trusted partner for complex, large-scale projects.
You'll be the face and voice of Rebuild Response within the national insurance and adjusting community -- representing a team known for quality, transparency, and reliability across every stage of the rebuild process.
What You'll Do
Build, grow, and maintain relationships with insurance adjusters, claims managers, independent and public adjusters, quantifiers, and municipal/township stakeholders.
Identify and develop strategic opportunities within the large-loss commercial and CAT markets.
Collaborate closely with internal project managers and our commercial partners to ensure smooth communication between field operations and insurance contacts.
Represent Rebuild Response at industry conferences, trade events, and CAT deployments across Canada.
Support company growth initiatives and provide market insights that strengthen our national network and service delivery.
What You Bring
Experience in insurance restoration, reconstruction, or the broader insurance industry (preferred).
A relationship-first mindset -- you know how to earn trust and maintain credibility in a professional, technical environment.
Excellent communication and networking skills with the ability to engage at both the local and national level.
Self-motivation and adaptability -- you're comfortable working independently and travelling as needed.
Knowledge of CAT protocols is a bonus (but not required).
What We Offer
Competitive base salary
Travel expenses covered
Opportunity to make a tangible impact by helping communities rebuild after a major loss.
A supportive, mission-driven team that values collaboration and integrity.
